Reflections
“Allow teachers the freedom and voice to set their own professional development goals, determine what they need to reach those goals, and providing them with the space to work together to achieve success will help form the basis of teacher development." (Cochran- Smith & Lytle, 1999; Patton, Parker, & Pratt, 2013)
Reflections Along The Year
Throughout my time in the School Leadership Program, I dedicated considerable time to reflecting on and delving into the concepts of culturally responsive school leadership and the significance of fostering unity among stakeholders. My journal reflections, extensive readings, and Capstone papers served as catalysts for my exploration and personal growth in these areas. Here, I present some key highlights that encapsulate the essence of my transformative journey as I examined my school environment and honed my own leadership style.
